The 2012 edition of “Downtown at Sundown” will come to an end this Friday Night June 1st in downtown Lake Charles with the band “City Heat” playing live. It will be your last chance to bring the entire family out and enjoy good food and great music.
Downtown at Sundown will wrap up its 14th season with City Heat on Friday, June 8. City Heat is sure to deliver good memories. The band originated in Lake Charles and is driven by local jazz legend Chester Daigle with DeWayne Simmons on vocals and James Bill on drums. Their repertoire of original and cover songs has cemented them as a true Southwest Louisiana favorite with their unique combinations and fusions of jazz, funk, blues, and R&B.
