City of Lake Charles Taking Entries for Red, White, Blue, and You Parade

The City of Lake Charles is accepting entries for the annual Fourth of July “Red, White, Blue, & You” parade. Submit your entry forms for floats, marching units, vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and golf carts, said a press release. Everyone is welcomed to participate in this annual parade and decorate their “units” in honor of Independence Day.

Beginning at 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 4th, the parade route is set to roll down Ryan Street from Mill Street, to Dr. Michael DeBakey Drive.

There will be food venders and activities for the entire family on the Civic Center grounds near the Arcade Pavilion at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a patriotic concert from the Lake Charles Community Band in recognition to the Armed Forces, and more.  For more parade details call 337.491.1382, or email Katie.Harrington@CityofLC.us.
