Well ironically things are not looking good for actor Columbus Short as his character Harrison Wright on the hit Scandal or in real life.

This has not been the best year for actor Columbus Short due to his irratic behavior of late. Whether it was domestic issues with his wife or situations with regular patrons in bars or other places. There is obviously something to be said here, and that for the most part would be that regardless of how rich you are. You coulld potentially still not be happy. I liked his character on Scandal and feel like it's gonna be a void that will be hard to replace. Hopefully he can get some help by way of anger management and work on being a better person in general. I don't feel like this will be his last time working, but he needs to take a break and deal with his internal issues. Check out his statement as he addresses his leaving the show!

''At this time I must confirm my exit from a show I’ve called home for 3 years, with what is the most talented ensemble on television today. I would like to first thank [creator] Shonda Rhimes for the opportunity to work with such an amazing cast. Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it. Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas. I wish nothing but the best for Shonda, Kerry and the rest of the cast, who have become like a second family to me in such a short amount of time. For this, I will forever be grateful.''
