One of the coldest out of Chicago way before there was a Kanye West or BJ. We had Common who represented like an mc with the lyrical standpoint of a New York don and the laid back flow of a southern mc. He got his first Academy Award along with John Legend for their collaboration Glory from the "Selma" movie and things have been looking great since.

Common ran with the music and also ran things on the big screen. He is known for having a great chemistry on the big screen with some of the hottest leading ladies. But he can also play his position in the back as a villain or any other character. He's getting ready to drop his first album on Def Jam and talked with The Breakfast Club about the new release and also his thoughts on the latest presidential race going on.

Common talks to The Breakfast Club:

Common- :Black America Again":

Make sure to pick up your copy this Friday of "Black America Again" and be ready to take a lyrical ride from the chi town conscious don. I just came up with that, so I want a percentage of use. Either way, this was a great interview and I can't wait to see the new John Wick 2 dropping soon.
