Representing Henry Heights elementary, the girls 14 & under All-Star Slow Pitch Softball team, Xtreme Impact, took home a 1st place trophy/medal in every tournament they played this summer.

Last year Xtreme Impact took second in Regional and State tournaments, becoming the Pony South Zone World Series Champions. This talented group of young ladies was led by their coaches, Jobe Guillory, Gabriel Joseph and Lakeisha Joseph. This year Xtreme wasn't gonna settle for anything less than first place.

From the very beginning these young ladies meant business, winning first place trophies or medals in every tournament they played this summer.  Xtreme played their heart out winning starting with the The Father’s Day Classic here in Lake Charles, on to The Shelby Memorial Tournament; Erath, LA, back home to play in the 4th of July Bash and the Louisiana State Slow Pitch Tournament, and finally The Pony South Zone World Series; Youngsville, LA. to win it all!

Overall these dynamic diva's played 26 games, losing only one.  One player in particular played a huge role in their 25-1 season.  Second basemen Shontavia Cofield hit three home runs during the World Series, earning her the Pony MVP for 14 & Under.  That's not all, her jersey will be retired and hung up at the Pony headquarters in Pennsylvania.
