CPSO Conducting Two Seatbelt Checkpoints, May 25 & 26

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office will be conducting two seatbelt checkpoints at undisclosed locations in the parish on Wednesday, May 25, and the second checkpoint Thursday, May 26.

"These checkpoints will target individuals who are not wearing their seatbelt. Louisiana law mandates that all passengers in a vehicle are to be buckled up, even those in the back seat," said CPSO press release.

CPSO is actively participating in the national “Click It or Ticket” campaign.

Seat belts save lives, so buckle up!
