Former rap mogul Damon Dash made some surprising comments during a business class taught by Dr. Boyce Watkins.

Dash revealed that Jay Z is the partly responsible for ruining Roc-A-Fella Records. After explaining that he doesn't have a publicist and doesn't care what people think, he went on to say that he knew once Hov walked away from Roc-A-Fella it wouldn't exist, nor would Rocawear.

The 44-year-old businessman also responded to Memphis Bleek's claims that he tried to warn him about the impending fallout, saying any so-called warning he may've received would've been pointless because he was done with hip-hop anyway, and didn't want to be part of the lifestyle anymore.

"I wasn't in the Jay Z business no more," said Dash. "I'd already moved my s--- to Rocawear and created Rachel Roy. I was done with hip-hop, that was a block they could keep, I wanted to sell a whole other drug. I wanted to be around cooler people."

Dash, who is focused on being a family man and staying positive, currently stars with his feuding brothers on VH1's reality series, Family Therapy.
