Damon Dash Supports New Aaliyah Album — Tha Wire [VIDEO]

Damon Dash, who dated Aaliyah right up until her untimely death, recently gave his opinion on the upcoming posthumous Aaliyah album by saying he’s in support of it.

Dash and Aaliyah had been dating for about a year or so and according to Damon had even talked about getting married.  But Aaliyah’s life was cut short, along with seven of her friends and the polite when the twin-engine plane the were in crashed seconds after taking off from the Bahamas.  She was only 22 years old.  Aaliyah was in the Bahamas shooting the video for her song “Rock The Boat”.  She died instantly when the plane, exploded on impact just 200 feet from the runway at Marsh Harbour International Airport on Abaco Island at 6:45 p.m.
