Comedian Dave Chappelle returns to television to host Saturday Night Live for the first time ever on Saturday, November 12, and with one of his favorite hip-hop acts set to perform.

A Tribe Called Quest is set to be the musical guest, as they gear up to release their final album We Got It From Here, Thank You for Your Service on Friday, November 11, just a day before their national television appearance. Their sixth studio album, but also the first since the death of the groups founding member Phife Dawg on March 22, 2016. The 45-year-old rapper died due to complications from diabetes. Phife did record several verses for the album at the beginning of the year, so his vocals will be featured on the album.

Though Dave has toured quite a bit over the past two years, this may be his first appearance on a nationally syndicated show since his departure from his Comedy Central series "Chappelle's Show.”

Tune in to SNL on NBC on November 12 to see what the Dave Chappelle has in store just days after the presidential election, of which I’m sure will make for quite the interesting material.
