Def Loaf loves paying homage to great artists and even greater tracks. Nearly 12 years ago, Beanie Sigel delivered his self-reflective single, "In the Air," and today, the Detroit rapper flips the classic hip-hop song to share her own reflective tale.

Starting by retelling her experiences traveling to Africa and the way she felt about her own people stopping her an in airport for having too much money, and also talks about being harassed by the police, while also sharing her feelings about dealing with insecurity issues.

The song follows her September release, "Snakes," which finds her spitting about her money, style, making things happen and not trusting everybody.

All in all, "In the Air" is a reflective track that showcases Dej's introspective side, which is always appreciated. Take a listen below.
