Desiigner Arrested On Felony Drug And Weapons Charges

Today in Tha Wire Thursday wasn't a good day for Desiigner, whose real name is Sidney Royel Selby III. According to reports the "Panda" rapper got himself arrested on felony drug and weapons charges in New York. When will this youngsters learn? Law enforcement told TMZ the star was involved in a road rage incident, which led to him being stopped.

For reasons unknown, Desiigner and four of his friends got into a verbal dispute with the occupants of another vehicle. The driver called 911 and claimed someone in a white Range Rover pointed a gun at them. After the brief altercation, the rappers SUV drove off, but not before the driver of the other vehicle took his plate number down. After making a report, it didn't take long for the NYPD to locate the star and his homies.

According to reports once the star was pulled over, officers search the vehicle and found a sizable amount of Oxycontin and some other drugs in the center console. Desiigner and all four of his boys were taken into custody and then charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell. In addition, the rapper was also charged with felony criminal possession of a loaded weapon and menacing for allegedly pointing a gun at the other driver. So this is a hot mess!

At last work, Desiigner and his crew spent the night in jail and apparently never posted bail. All five men were expected to go to court this morning. As more details become available on this STUPID STORY...I'll keep you posted.
