Today in Tha Wire it hasn't been a full two weeks since rapper Desiigner beat a slew of drug charges in New York.  As previously reported police received a call from a driver, who claimed the GOOD Music artist pointed a gun at him.   Authorities caught up to the rappers SUV, pulled him and his crew over, did a quick search of the vehicle and allegedly found loose pills.

TMZ broke the story and reported law enforcement found Oxycontin and other drugs.
Desiigner and 4 boys wound up in cuffs.  Everybody got arrested and hit with multiple charges to include two felonies; criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell.

A week after Thanksgiving the rapper had a lot to be thankful for when the D.A. over the case threw the case out and dropped all the charges.  Now the "Panda" MC is back in the news with more legal drama.

TMZ reports the rapper is being sued for a half milli for allegedly wrecking a rental car.  Well not just any rental...a 2014 Ferrari, valued at more than $200k.  It appears a luxury rental car company filed the suit and they believe he was behind the wheel, when the high dollar sports car was crashed in June.

According the legal docs Desiigner didn't rent the car, two of his friends allegedly did. The company has also named those friends in their lawsuit, and suing for $500,000 in damages.  The lawsuit charges the rapper had no right to drive the Rari, when he wrecked it in New Jersey.  The company claims additional charges are for the money they lost, because the car is out of commission and for repairs.

The Ferrari in question reportedly rents for $1,599 per day!  Meanwhile the rappers camp told TMZ, they're just hearing about the lawsuit.  His rep said, "This is the first that Desiigner or his team have heard about this lawsuit. The minute he has had a chance to consult with his attorney, his managers or his attorney will respond."

When they do, I'll let you ya know.  For all the entertainment make sure to stay in the know and check out Tha Wire every weekday, exclusively on The Peoples Station 107 Jamz.
