Desiigner caught a lucky break following his arrest drugs and gun charges in New York on Thursday (Sept. 8). According to TMZ, the D.A. has dropped the charges of felony possession of a loaded gun against the rapper.

The charge stem from a road rage incident where Desiigner got into an altercation with another driver. The man in the other car called 911 and accused the Brooklyn rapper of allegedly pointing a gun at him.

When the rapper jumped into his SUV and left the scene, the driver had already written down the license plate number. Cops later pulled over Desiigner's car and searched it. During their search, police reportedly found a “large quantity of loose pills” included OxyContin, methadone and illegal steroids.

Desiigner, along with four other passengers, in the SUV were arrested and charged with criminal criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drugs with intent to sell, which are felonies.

However, the gun charge was dropped because police didn't find a gun in Desiigner's SUV following the road rage incident. The D.A. also dropped the charge of felony possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell.

But the “Panda” rapper is not out of the woods just yet. Desiigner is expected to appear at his arraignment on charges of felony possession of a controlled substance and menacing today (Sept. 10).

Attorneys for Desiigner had no comment on the matter.
