In a relatively short time, Desiigner has become one of the hottest rappers in the game. And now the Brooklyn rhymer scored his first No. 1 hit single with “Panda.”

After spending six weeks on the charts, Desiigner's “Panda” knocked out Rihanna's “Work” to hold the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It marks the first time an American artist has been at No. 1 in 41 weeks and one of the first times we've seen a New York male rapper with a top hit in years.

The 18-year-old rapper celebrated his new milestone by hanging out at the Billboard offices with senior editor Alex Gale. Desiigner is reportedly on deck to co-host the Hot 100 Top 10 countdown on Billboard's Facebook Live account.

“Panda,” which may have been the best $200 Desiigner has ever spent, took off after it was sampled on Kanye West’s “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 2” on his The Life of Pablo album.

Hopefully, the news of having the No. 1 song in the country won't make him vomit.
