PRESS RELEASE FROM LAKE CHARLES POLICE DEPARTMENT:

On Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 7:45 p.m., the Lake Charles Police Department responded to a shots fired call at 2027 Highway 171.  As the victim exited the business, the suspect vehicle (2001 Buick Century) attempted to park in the same parking spot that the victim was walking through.  Words were exchanged between the vehicle occupants and the victim.  The victim then entered his vehicle that had two additional occupants.  As the victim’s exited the parking lot and entered U.S. Highway 171, the suspect’s vehicle followed the victim’s onto Hwy 171.  As the suspects were exiting the parking lot, the passenger, later identified as 18-year old Armonta Dquon Hadnot, rolled down the passenger window and was shooting at the victim’s vehicle numerous times while sitting on the window seal.

On Thursday, March 21, 2013 at approximately 11:45 a.m., detectives made contact with Lon Allen Porter, driver of the suspect vehicle which was involved in the shots fired incident at 2027 Highway 171. Mr. Porter was charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Mr. Porter was booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Facility on these charges.

Two hours and twenty five minutes later, the armed suspect from the previous shots fired incident (18-year old Armonta Dquon Hadnot) and a second unknown assailant ordered numerous individuals to the ground at gun point in McMillan Park (343 Goos Boulevard). During this altercation, three individuals were shot and killed.

The Lake Charles Police Department is currently looking for Armonta Dquon Hadnot as a person of interest in the three murders and as a suspect in the aggravated assault on Highway 171.

Hadnot could possible be driving a 2001 Buick Century, dark green, with dark tinted windows - Texas license plate BK6J808. The Buick Century has a hood ornament of an angel with orange wings swept back toward the windshield.

Hadnot is also wanted on criminal charges from a shooting that occurred in September 2012. The 2012 charges are Attempted 2nd Degree Murder and Illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities.

Hadnot and occupants of this vehicle should be considered armed and dangerous. If the vehicle is located, contact your local law enforcement agency.

Victims were identified as 20-year old Jeminskian J. Arvie, 23-year old David Jermaine Galmore, and 20-year old Fitzgerald Tremayne Guillory - all of Lake Charles, LA.
