Today in Tha Wire HipHollywood reports the Norwoods are trying to put a lid on an alleged beef. It may be to late, as several sources are reporting some drama unfolded between Brandy, her mom Sonja Norwood, and their new inlaw, Ray J’s wife Princess. The couple is expecting their first child, and the ladies allegedly fell out, last week at the babies gender reveal party.

TMZ reported that  Brandy and Mrs. Norwood addressed Princess at the party, and it didn't go over well. The three women supposedly got into a heated verbal confrontation. That's allegedly the real reason, Ray's mom and sister didn't attend the baby shower the next day. Yet according to HipHollywood Brandy and mama Sonja are saying, that's just not the case.

Both women took to social media trying to clear the air, and silence the chatter. Ironically, their posts are no where to found now. However First Mrs. Norwood released a brief statement saying simply that Brandy had a show the night of the shower in Virginia. Brandy chimed in and saying:

“Congrats to my brother and sister on their baby and baby shower. I’ve very excited to be an Auntie. So sorry I missed this moment with the both of you. I had a show in Hampton Virginia on the same day but I’m so glad I was able to push my flight back for the gender reveal the day before.” She went on to say, “nothing here but love and no matter what anyone says we are family and we will always be.”

As mentioned above it's just strange that both explanations were removed. Needless to say, families have disagreements, and there's nothing strange about that. So moving on, it looks like Princess had a wonderful baby shower. Peep a few pics from her event below. Meanwhile we send a BIG congrats to the happy couple, and wish them the very best as they celebrate the birth of their little girl.
