Dionne Warwick, Chuck Jackson and members of the group the Shirelle's have launched a lawsuit against the producers of a new play "Baby It's You".   The lawsuit claims that the Broadway show uses their likeness in one way or another without their permission.  Dionne and the group professionals are siteing that the plays producers are "cashing in" by using their "names, likenesses and biographical information without their consent".

The lawsuit which names Warner Bros. Theater Ventures, Warner Bros. Entertainment and Broadway Baby, goes on to state that the group was "cheated out of their royalties when they were young and popular and are now being victimized again".

"Baby It's You" follows the true story of Florence Greenberg, a New Jersey housewife that discovered that all-female singing group, who became popular in the 60's.  Ironically, despite the lawsuit none of the plaintiffs are looking to halt the production of the Broadway musical.
