DJ Drama dropped by The Breakfast Club to discuss the death of Dj hosted mixtapes, signing rapper Lil Uzi Vert, his relationship with Drake after the reference tracks leaked, and more.

Drama recently signed an artist from his home town of Philadelphia, rapper Lil Uzi Vert. Adding the new artist to his roster certainly helped him as an music executive, considering the criticism that he may have received for not representing his hometown as he did Atlanta. The famed Dj brushed off the accusations as not true.  He also says him and Meek Mill are cool after the incident where a referenced track for Drake was leaked, but he has yet to speak with the Toronto rapper since the incident sparked a year long war of words between Drizzy and Meek.

The “Gangsta Grillz” founder also spoke about the anniversary of the raid on his Atlanta office of Aphilliate Music Group on January 16, 2007, where the RIAA and police took him, his partner Don Cannon, and 17 others into custody. They were accused of bootlegging music. Police seized over 50,000 mixtapes in the raid, said MTV.
