DJ Drama dropped his highly anticipated fifth studio album, Quality Street Music 2, today. The project is the sequel to 2012's Quality Street Music.

The legendary DJ has released countless classic mixtapes on top of the five albums, which all feature big name artists including Fabolous, Meek Mill, and Jeezy. To no surprise, this album is no different. The 10-track collection includes appearances from Chris Brown, Young Thug, T.I., Lil Wayne, August Alsina, Trey Songz and Jeezy, among others.

“I just like to create a vibe and have positive energy around to get the best out of artists,” he said in an interview with Genius. “On an album where there are so many players and components, they want to be able to show up their peers — the ni--as that they’re competitive with or look up to.”

Drama also brought in an assortment of different producers to contribute to the project, including Don Cannon, Da Honorable C.N.O.T.E., and Swiff D.

Drama isn't only a DJ but also an A&R for Atlantic Records now so his ear for good music has evolved tremendously over the years, and this project showcases that.
