A producer is suing DJ Khaled for allegedly stealing the “I Got the Keys” beat.

Chris Hill claims that he made the beat in March 2008, and used it on a release called Chris Hill Beats (Gangsta Boogie Vol. 2). Hill says Khaled got a hold of the track when they met in October 2008, at an Atlanta nightclub, where he gave Khaled a copy of the CD.

Southside, Jake One and G Koop are credited as the producers of “I Got the Keys.” Hill is suing Khaled, the three producers and Sony Music Entertainment for a cut of the song’s profits, according to TMZ. The hit single, which features Jay Z and Future, was certified platinum by the RIAA in December 2016.

The lawsuit is unlikely to dampen the positivity of Khaled, who was in a great mood at yesterday’s (Feb. 9) press conference to announce his next album’s title. The Snapchat chair unveiled the name with his infant son Asahd in his arms.

“The title of my new album coming out this year, my best work ever, on my momma, on my son: Grateful,” Khaled said. “This title means so much to me. Especially coming off Major Key and seeing that love… The message here today is love. Love is the key and love is the answer.”

Khaled will be extra grateful if he can win a Grammy Award on Sunday (Feb. 12). His Major Key LP is nominated for Best Rap Album.
