Donate Canned Goods to the Lake Charles Abraham’s Tent and Get Free Coffee

Lake area McDonald’s are handing out free McCafes to those who make donations to Abraham’s Tent food bank during the month of October.
Bring in a donation between now and Monday, Oct. 29, and you’ll get a 12-oz. McCafé for every donation you make during the month.
“Abraham’s Tent has a special place in our community’s heart,” said Doug Gehrig, owner and operator of McDonald’s of Southwest Louisiana. “The generosity of our customers has helped make Cans for Coffee a success for many years now, and this year will be no different!”
According to a press release, all 11 Calcasieu Parish locations of McDonald’s are participating. Donors will have their choice of any McCafé variety, including Mocha, Iced Mocha, Latte, Premium Roast Coffee and Hot Chocolate. The food drive is an opportunity to try to restock the shelves of the food bank as we head into the holiday season.The food bank is always in need of donations, especially outside of the holidays.
