Once a year, we are lucky and priveged enough to have the International Family Fun Day in the park to come to Lake Charles. When I first moved here back in 2001, one of the first people that I met was Ms Salemah Broussard. She welcomed me with open arms and introduced me to plenty of great folks in Lake Charles.

She is all about the community and bringing unity together. And this Saturday she is doing it again. It's the International Family Day in the park at Lock Park on the corner of South Ryan and Dr. Debakey Drive. It all kicks off at 9 am this Saturday and goes until 8 pm that evening.
