Don’t Miss The Winter Quarterly Job Fair January 9, 2019

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury invites all job seekers and employers to the Region V American Job Center’s Winter Quarterly Job Fair.  It all takes place from 9 a.m. - 12 noon, on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2019 in the Exhibition Hall of the Lake Charles Civic Center.

As always you only have one chance to make a good impression. So put your best foot forward, wear appropriate business attire, and be prepared to have on-the-spot interviews. Job seekers will also need several copies of an up-to-date resume', a current picture ID, and arrive early to be among the first to meet with employers. Pre-registration is not required.

Area employers interested in participating in the job fair may register now, through Friday, Jan, 4, 2019, by contacting the American Job Center at (337) 721-4010. There's no fee. In honor of their service, all Veterans will be given 1st priority and are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m. in ensure exclusive access to employers until 9 a.m.

The job fair is sponsored by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, in conjunction with the Workforce Development Board and the Louisiana Workforce Commission. It is funded by the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. For more info, contact the American Job Center at (337) 721-4010.
