When Hot 97’s Ebro claimed Drake told him that he was prepared to deliver a verse at Eminem if a war of word ensued, the internet ran with it. According to the morning show host, “I told Drake that I heard the rumor was that Eminem was going to gear up to come after him,” said Ebro. “He laughed and was like, ‘That’s not going to happen. He’d never do that. And if he did, I got something for him to.”

I like to sit back and watch things unfold before I take sides, or even refrain from having an opinion about what I think is actually going on. It’s not worth it, and it causes more issues when there probably is none to begin with. In fact, a lot of rumors start because it was a “slow news day.”

I’ve always said that Drake is a man who’s decisions often depict the game of Chess, while everyone else’s decisions depict a a game of Connect Four. It looks like he just hit everyone with another checkmate as the Toronto rapper brought out Eminem at his Detroit performance for the Summer Sixteen tour. Drizzy even payed homage by calling Em “The Greatest Muthaf***ing rapper to ever get on the microphone.”

Photographer Jeremy Deputat captured the two MC’s together, of which Eminem and Drake both posted to their Instagram accounts. It’s an epic shot of two of the best rappers in hip-hop. You might not agree, but numbers don’t lie.

It’s safe to say there will be no rap beef happening between these two hip-hop giants. Check out the clip below where Eminem is brought out on stage in his hometown of Detroit by Drake.
