Today in Tha Wire Drake reveals he's droppin a movie doc based on the beginning of his career & former kid dancer pays tribute to Missy Elliott.

Back in the day, way before Drake became Young Money’s golden child, he was actor struggling to make his mark as an emcee.  He went from Jimmy from Degrassi: The Next Generation to Drizzy and one of the hottest rapper/singers in the game.  AllHipHop News reports the Young Money MC dropped a short film Jungle and a new mixtape If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late Thursday (Feb. 12)l.  Now comes word he's prepping the release of a documentary that chronicles his humble beginnings and rise to fame in the Rap game.

Homecoming: The Lost Footage, is coming soon to select theaters and features the likes of Jas Prince, son of Rap-A-Lot CEO James Prince, who reveals some rather surprising info about Lil Wayne and Drake, plus commentary from Bun B, behind the scenes footage, early career interviews and much more.

Finally, remember the little white girl with pigtails from Missy Elliott's classic video Work It? No?  Maybe this will refresh your memory.

The little girl, is Alyson Stoner.  Not only is she still dancing, she never forgot getting to dance with and for one of the greatest female rappers in the game.  AllHipHop reports she recently paid Missy Elliott homage in a new video.

She has good timing too.  After missing from the music scene for several years, Missy surprised fans with a killer performance at the Super Bowl with Katy Perry, which by the way has cause sales of her catalog to skyrocket.  Now comes word she's back in the studio with her longtime production partner Timbaland.
