Drake Forced To Cancel Summer Sixteen Tour – Tha Wire

Today in Tha Wire, with roughly 7 more stops to go, Drake announced this week that the Summer Sixteen Tour is over.  According to the news, it was the last thing he wanted to do, but the tour has been postponed due to an ankle injury.  Drake announced the unfortunate info Wednesday afternoon, but promised the remaining shows in Montreal, Brooklyn, New Jersey, and a few other cities would be made up.

After 50 doing more than shows on the road, the Canadian rapper's ankle couldn't take any more punishment. Doctors orders: Summer Sixteen had to be shut down. The announcement was made to fans by way of Drake's website, where he wrote:

The good news is he will be back. However, when is the question. There's no word on what type of injury it is, or whether or not it's severe enough to require surgery. Nonetheless, with the promise of new music, hopefully he'll do another tour. Keep you posted if I hear anything new. Get better, Drizzy!

Finally, fashionista/reality star, Angela Simmons, is full of surprises this year, isn't she? First, she announces she's engaged, then goes out of her way to hide the identity of her fiance'. Naturally, folks thought it was her on-again-off-again boyfriend/reality show co-star, Romeo Miller. After a few days and some digging, the internet won and revealed that wasn't so. Rather, Ang was engaged to Sutton Sean Tennyson.

The problem is Tennyson has a an extensive criminal record, with a laundry list of convictions and charges ranging from credit card fraud, gun and drug procession, to hit-and-run, and even battery. Kinda explains why she may have been trying to keep things quiet.

Not long after that, the star made another announcement: she and her fiance' were expecting their first child. E! was happy to break the news that Simmons gave birth to a baby boy last week. You can bet we'll see more of her precious bundle of joy and learn more about her journey through motherhood in the new season of Growing Up Hip Hop.

However, I wonder if they'll disclose any details about her being married. According to Romeo's lil sister, Cymphonique Miller, Angela has tied the knot. Looks like Cymphonique let the cat out of the bag on accident during an interview with Bossip. Wow! Well if that is the case, congrats to the happy couple.
