Today in Tha Wire, Drake is catching some major flack over his Kid Cudi diss track, “Two Birds, One Stone.” First and foremost Cudi checked himself into rehab in early October, for depression and having suicidal thoughts. TMZ broke the news and reports the star made the decision because he hadn't been at peace for a longtime.  I gotta give props to my man for taking responsibility for his addition and doing something about it.  Depression is nothing to play with and getting help is definitely the best thing he could've ever done.

Days before checking himself in, Cudi revealed in a letter to fans, "I would've done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life."  As for the beef between him and Drake, Cudi's the one who got it cranked up.  According to reports things started brewing in August.  Apparently the rapper/actor was feeling some type of way that his mentor, Kanye West, was working with Drake instead of him and his new project.

Cudi fired the first shots sending out a series of tweets attacking, Drizzy calling him fake and dragging up Meek's claims of him using ghost writers.  The allegations didn't sit well with Kanye either.  Yeezy addressed the shady tweets while performing in Tampa, FL for his Saint Pablo Tour.  He blasted Cudi saying,

“You mad because I’m doing songs with Drake? Ain’t nobody tell Ye who to do songs with. Respect the god!” But he quickly changed his tune and praised Cudi at a tour stop in Houston, calling him “the most influential artist of the past 10 years.”  See and hear Ye's fury below in the video.

Then it was Drake turn to respond, but he didn't drop a tweet, he dropped an entire song. In “Two Birds, One Stone” the rapper/acter/singer takes cheap shots at Cudi and makes fun of him popping pills.  Cudi took to Twitter once again, challenging Drake to say it to his face and warned he'd be out soon.

Drake didn't offer a comeback to Cudi, however he clap back when a fan said that he was over the rapper, for taking such a low blow.   He said. “Mans need to stop mentioning my name when they get geeked,” he wrote in a comment on Instagram. “Supposed to be all love out here word to my bro Pablo.”  Since then things have been quiet from all the rappers, a petition may get things riled up again.

Care2, an online community that empowers people to live healthy and green lifestyles, has started a petition calling on Drake to donate proceeds from his diss, to mental health charities.  According to reports their goal is to collect 5,000 signatures and they already have over 4,500.  Whether they can get Audrey Drake Graham to donate the funds is a whole nother ball game.  To be continued......
