Dwayne Johnson Debuts On The Small Screen With HBO Series Ballers [VIDEO]

Dwayne Johnson A.K.A The Rock has been known as the franchise savior when it comes to certain movies including "G.I. Joe", "Fast And Furious" and even "The Mummy". Well he is officially taking those talents to the small screen with a new series on HBO called "Ballers".

The show follows Dwayne Johnson's character Spencer Strassmore who is not a retired Football player who is now a part of a big sports managing firm and of course he knows how to work the deal. Check out the trailer for the series starting this month.

While HBO has lost some of their landmark shows like True Blood, Boardwalk Empire and Treme, they seem to be giving us a new brew of great shows to be looking out for. I am a huge fan of Dwayne and will be setting my DVR for this one as you can believe that everyone will be watching to see if he can handle the small things.
