The main cast for the highly anticipated N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton has been selected and not everybody is happy about the outcome.  The good news is, the biopic is one step closer to hitting theaters.  The bad news is the main cast will not include the sons of two main characters.  O’Shea Jackson will play his father Ice Cube, but despite trying out for the roles, Eazy-E’s son, Eric Wright Jr. and Dr. Dre’s son, Curtis Young didn’t make the cut.

Dre’s son sat down with Female First and explained why he didn’t get his father’s role and TMZ reports Eazy’s son, Eric Wright Jr. wasn't happy he didn't get to star as his legendary dad too.  Find out what they both had to say below inside Tha Wire.

Marcus Callender will play Dr. Dre and ironically, he and Cube’s son O’Shea, don’t have much acting experience and never been in any films.  Jason Mitchell will star as Eazy-E and is the only actor so far, with any experience.  Mitchell’s starred in four films, including actor Mark Walberg’s 2012 movie Contraband. They are currently looking for actors to play the parts of MC Ren and DJ Yella and more.

Speaking of Yella, peep what he's saying about the state of his relationship with surviving group members, the upcoming biopic and more.

Ice Cube, Eazy’s widow Tomica Woods-Wright and Dr. Dre will be the producers, while R. Gary Gray will by the film’s director.  Look for Straight Outta Compton to hit theaters in 2015.

Finally, DJ Khaled hopes his new headphone line will steal a little light from Beats by Dre.  The label exec announced Monday (June 30), "Today I am proud to announce that I have partnered with Heads Audio and Bang Olufsen to create the best audio in the marketplace.”
