Eric Doshier has lined up another round-trip into history, but if I do say so myself, he's out done himself on this one.  Let's be clear...he isn't running for office or anything like that. Doshier is a Lake Charles native, who works as an Chemical Process Technician at Axiall Corporation and Broker (Retirement & Insurance Management) at TM Professionals.  He actually came up with the idea to do annual history and educational trips, when he seen how many people were interested in going to Selma.  Last March was the 50th Anniversary of the Marches from Selma to Montgomery and it was a momentous event that was not only televised, but featured President Barack Obama.

Doshier know he had to go and as the historical event gained publicity, more and more people he knew wanted to go as well.  So he decided to charter a coach bus and invite area residents to join him.  Before he knew it, he had two buses headed to Selma.  It was then that Doshier realized people had a real interest in reliving history and taking educational trips like this.  This is especially true for our seniors, who couldn't do a trip like these by themselves.  So he decided to set one up every year from here on out.

I went on all of them so far and not only are they well planned out with a full itinerary of things to do and see, but their fun, convenient and affordable because their all inclusive.  So far we've gone to Selma, Alabama and we just came back from Bar-BL-Que-N The Blues in Memphis, Tennessee in April.  Both trips were fabulous!

For the next trip out of Lake Charles though, he's pulled out all the stops.  This is President Barack Obama's last year in office and Eric Doshier has lined-up a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime, 7-day, 6-night trip to Washington D.C.  This is an all-inclusive trip that will cover your travel, entry fees or tickets, hotel accommodations, food and more for one price. The D.C. trip will take place October 10 - 16, 2016 and will feature several tours including one of the White House.  See the nation monuments and memorials, the Appalachian Mountains and much more!  Eric stopped by the 107 Jamz studio to give us all the trip details.  Check out the video below.

The Washington D.C. "Mountains, Monuments and Memories" all-inclusive trip is $880 per person (non-refundable, but transferable) and includes the following:
