Brought you by Families Helping Families come out to this family empowerment resource fair complete with several guest speakers and key note speaker, Johnathan Mooney. Come join us Thursday April 26th from 9am to 3:30pm at the Lake Charles Civic Center.
Johnathan Mooney is a writer and activist who was a special education student and didn't learn to read until he was 12 years old.
A graduate of Brown University, throughout his presentation, Johnathan weaves his experiences and forward-thinking philosophies with his broad academic knowledge of education, psychology, sociology and history of learning disability.
