Relaxation is in the forecast.  So treat yourself to an afternoon of live Smooth Jazz with outstanding jazz musicians and vocalists.  JAZZ IN THE ARTS is proud to present to you jazz artists from the surrounding areas of Jennings, La. and Beaumont, Tx. that will bring to you performances that will have you wanting more.

Saxophonist Marcus Davis of Jennings, La.  has performed for numerous state and national officials, as well as world leaders.  Marcus performed for the 53rd Presidential Inaugural Ball in Washington D. C.  He’s also performed with Tramaine Hawkins and The Temptations to name a few.

Jazz Singer/Drummer Ronnie Rocio and his wife Vocalist Nandria of Beaumont, Tx. has performed as the opening act for Bobbie Bland, Natalie Cole, Ray Charles and many others.  Nandria also graces the stage with a mixture of some of her favorite artists such as Patsy Cline, Lalah Hathaway and Etta James.

What more can you ask for when you are backed by one of the best Rhythm Sections around:   Chester Daigle, keyboard/piano; Jay Ecker, bass; Jeff Simon, guitar; James Bill, drums; and Sylvia Hankin, percussion.  This is definitely one concert you do not want to miss.
