Carlyss Mardi Gras Trail Ride begins at the West Calcasieu Arena in Sulphur at 6 a.m. Admission is $5 for trail riders.
World Famous Cajun Extravaganza and Gumbo Cookoff at the Lake Charles Civic Center from 8 a.m. til 2 p.m. Admission is $5
The Krewe of Omega Parade rolls at 2 in downtown Lake Charles, followed by a Zydeco Dance from 3-5 p.m. at the Civic Center
Krewe of Cosmos presentation at Sulphur High School at 6:30 p.m. Skits, songs and more as the krewe presents its royal court.
Krewe of Illusions 24th Annual Presentation at the Lake Charles Civic Center at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for orchestra seating, formal attire required. $18 for balcony reserved seating, casual attire. $15 for standard balcony seating, casual attire.
