This year’s event will celebrate the scholarships provided by SWLA Center for Health Services to High School students who have chosen to pursue college degrees in a healthcare related field. The Center is also looking forward to awarding additional scholarships for those students who choose to attend a vocational school majoring in such areas as Medical Assistants, ECG Technicians, Dental Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, and Exercise Science Trainers.

The afternoon promises to be an exciting event. Classical music will be provided by Megan and Mia Polk on the violin; while the Chester Daigle combo will bring Jazz to guests. The Arts will also be represented by the dancing of Elsie Thibodeaux and the Lake Charles Dance Academy. The visual arts will be represented by local talent, Erin Barker, 2013 Louisiana Artist of the year; the legendary Eddie Mormon, and Lake Charles artist, Shannon Simmons.

Tickets for this very special occasion are $35 per person. Sponsorships, donations and in-kind services are welcome and are available at various levels.
