Promoters Accused Of Hiring Imposter Boosie Until Rapper Sets The Record Straight
A group of promoters in Charleston, SC were accused of hiring a "fake Boosie" until the actual Boosie Badazz took to social media to set the record straight.
Initially, fans were shocked—some outraged—at the fact that they were being duped by what was believed to be a fake Boosie. Soon word spread online, and before you know it, the promoters were being dragged for hiring an imposter.
That was until Boosie himself came out and cleared up the rumors on his official Instagram account.
As a known diabetic, Boosie is no stranger to dealing with illness. He also recently lost half a kidney through cancer surgery, but made a speedy recovery and returned to the stage to perform for his fans with very little down time.
In the end, not only was it the "real" Boosie, but it turns out that he powered through the effects of his oral surgery to give his fans the show they were expecting. At the time of this post, some social media updates claiming that the Boosie who performed was a fraud have yet to be taken down.
Regardless, the record has been set straight.
