Fat Joe and Remy Ma sat down with ThisIs50 where the “Terror Squad” leader discussed how the beef between him and 50 Cent came to and end. According to Joe, “If you look at me in my eye and say this shit is over, it’s over, and that’s what happened.” "Me and 50 Cent shook hands, and uh, it was awkward, because you know, he want to get me, I want to get him. Somebody was getting hurt, let’s be clear.”

Fat Joe and Jadakiss became enemies of 50 while he was going after JaRule in the early 2000’s. Their association with the Murder Inc. rapper as well as featuring on his 2004 hit song “New York,” prompted the G Unit head honcho to make beef with them as well.  Almost a decade later, it was the death of Chris Lighty that made the two MC’s shake hands and end their issues, of which 50 Cent has gone on record to say “went on longer than it was supposed to."

Joe assured that he didn’t know who would be the one to get hurt, but the beef was so strong that someone was bound to get hurt, rather it be himself, 50, or a member of their respective crews at the time.

Remy Ma also recounted 50 Cent writing her letters in jail to help towards her appeal to be released earlier than her initial sentencing.
