Hours after defending his title against Chris Jericho, R-Truth, The Miz, Kofi Kingston, and Dolph Ziggler at The Elimination Chamber Pay-Per-View, CM Punk was still smelling himself and took aim at Chris Brown on Twitter.  Mind you, Chris had never had words with Punk prior to this.  Anyway, CM Punk sent out a tweet saying he’d like to “curb stomp” Chris Brown at an upcoming event so he “could fight somebody that can defend themselves.”

Though he had no prior beef with Punk, it didn’t take long for Breezy to respond, he wrote back “@CMpunk needs more followers.  He’s such a leader!  Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women.  @CMpunk contact my assistant and I’ll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!”

31-year-old emcee didn’t make a plea deal and is looking at a possible 10 years in prison if convicted.  Since his arrested he also pleaded guilty to felony weapons and witness tampering in December of last year.  He was originally scheduled to be sentenced on March 14th, but Federal prosecutors are now pushing for a delay.

However, now the prosecution is saying that they have “received information about Dorsey from fellow federal prosecutors in Southern Illinois.”  So, far they have refused to give any other specifics about the so called new information.  There’s also no word as to whether or not the “new information” could add more time to B.G.’s projected maximum sentence.

Of course as this story develops, I’ll keep you posted.

Keith had already started making a name for himself, when he released the newest release in 1997 “You’d Be Surprised” which featured the hot single “Hello Josephine” The song had the trail rides rolling and people partying all over when they heard this new release!

This was the hot ballad for those looking to rekindle a little romance with this hot single “Pieces To My Heart”. This was the makeup song for guys all over Southwest Louisiana and beyond for the ladies when they were in the dog house.

3. Haterz

Now This is one of those songs where Keith really took a step ahead of the competition with the release of “Haterz”. Not only was this from the release “Love, Fear and Respect” but this had every party, trail ride and family reunion off the chain. He was also one of the first Zydeco artist to step outside the norm and get a major artist to be featured, when he enlisted the help of Lil Boosie to jump on the track with. This only expanded he credibility for both Keith and Boosie!

2. Movin On Up

Coming off the one of his first release that was taken from the title of the album “Movin On Up”, the single was released and with the catchy Jefferson hook in the song, this had kids and adults alike singing this tune all over the state of Louisiana. This was one of those fun and catchy little songs that had the melody that you just couldn’t resist when it came down to the song!

1.Dreams Come Alive

It was 2009 and Keith Frank began the trend of releasing a double release with the release of “Undisputed” two full cds powered with plenty of great songs, but it was the inspirational song “Dreams Come Alive” that was the motivation that so many people needed to hear. If I am ever having a down day, all I have to do is put that song on and it does wonders for me. We recently did an interview with Keith and he also said that this is his favorite song of all times as well as the bands favorite as well. Now how about that? As much as I hate to even think about it, Whitney Houston will be laid to rest tomorrow and her home town of Newark is bracing for the thousands of mourning fans that are gonna try and pay their respects.  However, Newark authorities are pleading with everyone to stay home and watch it on TV or online.  Get more details surrounding her funeral, who’s gonna be there and what else fans need to know.

HERE’S TODAY’S BONUS STORY:

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Oprah Winfrey is considering a co-starring role in a new Lee Daniels’ film, “The Butler”.  A profoundly interesting true story of Eugene Allen, a black man who worked as  a bultler in the White House and served 8 presidents from 1952-1986. 

The film is very much in it’s early stages.  As a matter of fact the financing isn’t completly ironed out, but Daniels is said to be working on a top notch cast in the meantime.  John Cusack, Mila Kunis, Hugh Jackman and Oprah are just a few of the names being thrown around. 

Word has it, Daniels wants David Oyelowo her starred in “Red Tails” and the upcoming thriller “The Paperboy”, to play the butler.  So, we’ll see how it goes, but it sounds like it’s gonna be good.  Oprah actually worked with Lee Daniels before with the movie “Precious” which as we already know scored two Oscars.

This is destined to be a hit and with the performance from The Tonight Show, this is just the first of many to come. Be on the lookout for new releases from the both of them to hit i-tunes and other retailers soon.

Thanks to another African American invention, we all can enjoy the extra excitement 3-D movies offer.

Kenneth J. Dunkley is currently the president of the Holospace Laboratories Inc. in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. He is best known for inventing Three Dimensional Viewing Glasses (3-DVG) – his patented invention that displays 3-D effects from regular 2-D photos without any type of lenses, mirrors or optical elements. By studying human vision, Dunkley discovered that blocking two points in a person’s peripheral vision will cause an ordinary picture to appear 3-Dimensional, so he developed his 3-DVG to block out these points.

In addition to his 3-DVG invention, Kenneth Dunkley also receives attention for his efforts as a visual pioneer. In Harrisburg, PA, at the Museum of Scientific Discovery, he has conducted visual effects workshops for four years. Dunkley is also a leader in the field of holography.

Few people know that it was Mr. Russell’s patent that made the “mobile” digital cell phone possible! He continues today as a thought leader in the area of wireless communications.

Jesse Eugene Russell was born April 26, 1948 in Hickville, Tennessee into a large family of 8 brothers and 2 sisters.  His early childhood was spent in poor inner-city neighborhoods.  During his early years, he focused on athletics and not academics.   A key turning point in Russell’s life was the opportunity to attend a summer educational program at Fisk University.  While at Fisk, his his academic and intellectual pursuits really took off.   He continued his education at Tennessee State University where he focused on electrical engineering and earned a  Bachelor of Science Degree (BSEE) in Electrical Engineering.  As a top honor student Russell became the first African American to be hired directly from a Historically Black Colleges and Universities by AT&T Bell laboratories, where he subsequently became the first African-American in the United States to be selected as the Eta Kappa Nu Outstanding Young Electrical Engineer of the Year in 1980.  Russell continued his academic pursuits and obtained his Master of Electrical Engineering from Stanford.

Russell’s innovations in wireless communication systems, has fundamentally changed the wireless communication industry.  Known for his patented invention of the digital cellular base station, that enabled new digital services for cellular mobile users, Russell continues to innovate in the emerging next generation broadband wireless communication technologies, products, networks, and services as well as “Mobile Cloud Computing” which are shaping the forefront of the 4G Communication Industry.

Chris Brown for some reason is catching a lot of flack by some critics who feel 1. he shouldn’t have gotten the opportunity to perform on the Grammys and 2. he didn’t deserve to win a Grammy.  Well, allegedly yesterday he took to Twitter to respond saying “HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY now!  That’s the ultimate F–K OFF!”

That post has since been deleted, however it may not have been Chris who sent the tweet in the first place.  It’s seems, at least according to an anonymous source who told Radar Online that “someone does his postings on Twitter and when he saw that he ordered it taken down immediately”.

On a brighter note, Chris generated a record number of positive tweets during his return to the Grammys stage.  He drew 453-thousand social media comments over a five-minute span!  You go boy!

Well, sadly as Tony mentioned David Payton passed away last year.  I was totally surprised by the heartbreaking news.  Like Tony said, David the late Patton brought us a ton of memorable plays like: A Good Man Is Hard To Find, Stand By Me,The Real Meaning of Christmas, Child Support, Ain’t No Woman Like the One I Got, When a Woman’s Fed Up, Tired of Being Alone, Train Up a Child, Let’s Straighten It Out, Better Put that Woman First, They Said I Wouldn’t Make It, Stand By Me and presently Behind The Pulpit.

He will be missed.  Our heartfelt condolences go to his family and friends.

On a brighter note, Tony said that he is working on a new project and his fans can get up to the minute news by joining him on Twitter at mrtonyterry or on Facebook at therealtonyterry.  However, just in case you forgot what my boy is working with, here’s some of my favorites.  Enjoy!
