Female Arrested For 2nd Degree Murder In Stabbing Yesterday In LC

The Lake Charles City police responded to Louie Street in Lake Charles Yesterday afternoon in reference to a domestic dispute involving a stabbing.  The following is a press release from Deputy Chief Mark Kraus with the City Police:

On Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at approximately 730pm, the Lake Charles Police Department responded to 211 Louie St Apt. 4, Lake Charles, La in reference to a stabbing.

Upon arrival Officers located Lawrence Edward Bryant, 22yoa, of Lake Charles with a stab wound in his chest.  Bryant was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries.

Officers learned that Bryant had gotten into an altercation with Jessica Love at her apartment which resulted in Love stabbing Bryant in the chest.

Jessica Ann Love, BF, 20yoa dob: 7-29-90, address: 211 Louie St Apt 4, Lake Charles, La was arrested for 2^nd degree Murder and booked into the Calcasieu Correctional Center
