Today in Tha Wire, Fetty Wap was minding his own business, getting his Fast N Furious on, when out of nowhere NYPD got involved. ABC News reports the rap star and another driver were drag racing on a New York freeway early Friday (November 3, 2017.) Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was allegedly drunk. Sgt. Thomas Antonetti reported the legal limit is .08, and Fetty's breathalyzer test recorded his blood-alcohol level at .09.

TMZ reports the rapper was doing 100mph in a 50mph zone on Gowanus Expressway at 1 a.m. in the morning. So he wasn't hard to spot, flying down the road in his 2015 Mercedes. When police pulled him over, he reportedly gave the officers an expired New Jersey driver's license. At that point, he got arrested and brought down to the New York police department to be booked.

Fetty's early morning drag racing antics earned him 15 charges! In addition to DUI, HotNewHipHop reports the rapper was charged with the following:

"reckless endangerment, illegal speed contest, operating a motor vehicle with .08, driving while intoxicated, reckless driving, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, motor vehicle license violation. unsafe lane change, following too close, illegal signal, driving while alcohol impaired, and four counts of a speed violation."

By the way, to ensure the reading was correct, the rap superstar was given a second sobriety test. However, it didn't help him any. Fetty supposedly failed that one, too. This ain't good. As no surprise, Fetty's camp hasn't issued a statement on his arrest or anything else. The rap star will more than likely be headed to court before the end of the year to answer to all the charges. Meanwhile, he's currently out on bond.
