NBC News reports that all eyes are back on gubernatorial race between Democratic candidate Andrew Gillum, and Republican Ron DeSantis. Vote margins in the Florida contest for Governor have continued to tighten, with Gillum trailing less than a half point. Though he conceded in his race against the three-term Republican congressman Tuesday, it’s become apparent a recount is going to happen. The Governor race has come within the margin threshold of under 0.50 percent, which under Florida law triggers an automatic recount!

Florida Politics reports Gillum’s camp is excited about possibly pulling off a win. Campaign organizers released a statement on the matter saying, “On Tuesday night, the Gillum for Governor campaign operated with the best information available about the number of outstanding ballots left to count. Since that time, it has become clear there are many more uncounted ballots than was originally reported. Our campaign, along with our attorney Barry Richard, is monitoring the situation closely and is ready for any outcome, including a state-mandated recount."

The Gillum spokesperson continued, "Mayor Gillum started his campaign for the people, and we are committed to ensuring every single vote in Florida is counted." Ballots from two highly diverse areas are still being counted, from Palm Beach and Broward County. As they come in Gillum's margin continues to tighten, making a recount very likely. As of early Thursday afternoon, Gillum trailed DeSantis by about 0.6 percent.

According to The Hill, under Florida state law a margin of 0.5 percent or less would trigger a machine recount, and a margin of .25 percent or less triggers a hand recount.

If that’s not enough the Florida Senate race between Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson and Republican Gov. Rick Scott is also likely headed to a recount! The margins in that race is even closer, with Scott winning by only 0.2 percent as of Thursday afternoon! That's not the only Senate race to watch. Scott is screaming foul, and filed a lawsuit against Broward County Supervisor of Elections Brenda Snipes over the recount. Gillum fired back at the notion of foul play, tweeting that's what Democracy is all about.

CNBC reports Democratic
Rep. Kyrsten Sinema took a small lead in the Arizona contest Thursday, over Republican Rep.
Martha McSally. If Sinema keeps or extends her edge of 0.5 percentage points, that'll effects how wide Republicans can make their Senate majority in January. This is HUGE news for Democrats on Capitol Hill. By the way,
Cindy McCain made it known, she voted for Sinema and her ballot was among those needed to be counted.

This is getting pretty interesting. We gotta recount going on in Georgia with Stacey Abrams/Brian Kemp contest over gross gerrymandering and ballots not being counted there. Plus two pending election recounts in Florida, and one more in Arizona. I can't help but wonder if the same thing happened with the Beto O'Rourke and Ted Cruz race in Texas. That was another contest that was way to close to call, in the biggest state of the nation. It's hard to believe everyone else is still counting, and Texas isn't. What do you think?
