Mayweathers opponent is 22 and is undefeated in 42 fights.  In his last fight, Canelo defeated Austin Trout on April 20 in a unanimous decision.  Some naysayers claim Floyd avoided Canelo to fight Robert Guerrero, who he easily bested earlier this month.  But that's neither here nor there.  One things for sure, the pay per view buys for Mayweathers  last fight were pretty low, however word of his new fight is already generating made hype.

Meanwhile, the fight with Canelo could also yield a larger payday for Mayweather, as its speculated that he’ll get upwards of $50 million for the fight. That would make Money Mayweather's highest pay day ever.
