Footage Released of SWAT Team Raid on J. Cole’s Home Studio

J. Cole’s latest album 4 Your Eyez Only has not only reached certified platinum status, but it’s produced an HBO documentary of the same name that premiered over the weekend. In the special there is footage of a SWAT team raiding his home studio back in 2016.

On his song "Neighbors,” from his new album, Cole’s raps on the chorus “I guess the neighbors think I’m sellin’ dope.” Apparently that was more than just a line in a song, because one of his neighbors allegedly reported him to police.

The rapper was accused of having a grow house for marijuana or selling drugs from the home. Check out the actual footage of the “raid” above.
