It’s fact that Destiny Child’s went through a few line-up’s before they got the right recipe. One version of the group, featured Beyoncé, Kelly, Michelle, and Farrah Franklin.  Farrah joined D-Child around the same time as Michelle in 1999.  She was originally hired as an extra in the music video for  "Bills, Bills, Bills". That same year she and Michelle were made official members, replacing LaTavia Roberson and LeToya Luckett pretty much without notice.

The two made their official debut with the group in 2000 via the video for "Say My Name". Unlike Michelle though, Farrah’s time with the group was short lived.  After five months with the super girl group, Farrah found out she was fired with the rest of the world from MTV News.  In an interview Beyoncé  said Farrah missed three major dates and showed a lack of interest in the group, so they let her go.

Since then, unfortunatly Farrah’s had a couple of run-ins with the law.  TMZ reports in 2001 she was arrested in an alcohol related incident and charged with disorderly conduct.  Now she’s back in the news for another arrest.  Listen to Tha Wire below to find out what happened.

Finally, Lifetime isn’t making too many friends these days.  As previously reported the network has been dealing with major drama surrounding their biopic on Aaliyah.  Aaliyah’s family has been very vocal about not being involved in the movie and now it appears Whitney Houston‘s family is having that same issue.

Cissy Houston wrote in a statement submitted to ‘Entertainment Tonight’ she will not be supporting the movie, since she nor any of her family members were asked to participate.  Last month Bobbi Kristina went on a Twitter rant blasting Bassett for not casting her in the film.
