Free Child Safety and Wellbeing Workshop, June 12 – “Getting Intoxicated in a Millennial World”
The City of Lake Charles will host it remaining free workshop in it's "Linked" series from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., for foster parents or anyone interested in learning more about child safety and well-being. The "Getting Intoxicated in a Millennial World" workshop takes place on Tuesday, June 12, 2018, at Church of the King, located at 2145 Oak Park Blvd.
The remaining workshop, which is held on the second Tuesday of each month, will focus on drug prevention and awareness.
After a required pre-registration, workshops are free to the public, and also offer food and childcare while foster parents attend training "one hour per workshop," said a media release.
