Today in Tha Wire in an update on the French Montana home invasion, AllHipHop reports police are getting extra help with their investigation. The rap stars neighbors realize it's in their best interest to help find the robbers, because they could be next. The burglary took place in French's posh Calabasas neighborhood, Mureau Estates. This is a gated community, so the authorities are trying to find out how the crooks even gained access. Residents in the exclusive hood, are wondering the same thing.

One thing's for sure, they see the writing on the wall, understanding if the thieves aren't caught their homes could be next. Now everyone in the community is combing through their home security cams, trying to catch footage of the robbers in action. PEOPLE reports the Calabasas Sheriff's Dept. confirmed, they are looking for two male suspects.

As previously reported, the home invasion took place on Tuesday this week, early in the morning. A spokesperson for the Sheriff's Dept. said they believe the crooks were armed when they forced their way into the 33-year-old rapper’s mansion. However the authorities didn't specify whether they took anything. French and several others were in the home at the time of the robbery, but thankfully no one was harmed.

The search continues. I'll keep you posted on any further details. In the meantime, Catch Tha Wire twice a day, every weekday on The People's Station 107 Jamz
