Seems as if rapper Future is the 9th artist ever to come in at #1 and #2 on the Billboard 200 album chart at the same time for his latest albums FUTURE and HNDRXX. He’s now officially in the history books.

According to Billboard, Future is also the first artist to debut at #1 on the Billboard 200 in consecutive weeks.

Following his unexpected death in 2016, Prince was the last artist to rule the top two spots with The Very Best of Prince and Purple Rain. Nelly accomplished the same in 2004 with the release of Sweat and Suit.

HNDRXX leads the Billboard 200 with 121,000 equivalent album units earned, and FUTURE falls to number 2 this week, it moved 140,000 copies its first week. This brings the Atlanta rappers list of number ones to five along with DS2, EVOL, and Time to Be Alive.

Congrats to Future on his continued success.
