The Game’s bid to have a $10 million sexual assault lawsuit thrown out has been denied and now a judge wants the Compton rapper to face his accuser in court.

According to The Jasmine BRAND, the judge recently ordered both parties to appear in court on June 16 to see if they can hash out a settlement so the case doesn’t have to go to trial.

The judge also warned that if the Game doesn’t show up for the hearing he will be sanctioned by the court. Both parties were also told to not report any aspect of the hearing or settlement on social media.

As we previously reported, the Game is being sued by Priscilla Rainey, who was a former contestant on his VH1 reality show, She Got Game. She claims that the rapper allegedly sexually assaulted her on several occasions including rubbing on her “bare vagina and buttocks.”

Rainey says she never gave the rapper permission to touch her and she felt degraded by the sexual assault. She is seeking $10 million for pain and suffering, including psychological and emotional damage, from the Game's actions.

“My client was damaged by the sexual assault,” said Rainey’s attorney Adam Horowitz. “She’s been in therapy. Now, she’s anxious to tell her story.”

Attorneys for the Game had no comment on the matter.
