Housed in the historic Carnegie Memorial Library building, trace your roots and learn all there is to know about your ancestors in the genealogy workshops.  There is no charge for the workshops and guiding you through your research, will be a friendly and experienced genealogy staff.

Available resources to aid in your family tree research will include books, microfilm, records from the U.S. census database and more.  Plus, the genealogy staff will provide valuable information on how to preserve and organize precious documents discovered during your research.

Don't miss your opportunity to discover who you really are, who your ancestors were and where your people came from.  Explore your real-life history in the genealogy workshops at the Carnegie Memorial Library on 411 Pujo St. in Lake Charles.  The workshops will take place Mon. – Sat. 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Sunday 1:30 – 5:30 p.m.  For more details call 33-721-7110.
