In other news, in the wake of Kendrick Lamar‘s cypher verse on the 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards , in which K-Dot presumably takes shots at Drake for a second time, some are eager to see how this is all gonna pan out.

Now it seems Erykah Badu is egging Drake to respond.  The R&B diva took to Twitter to give her two sence on the lyrical issue and suggested that Drake had to fire back, because it’s Hip Hop.

Should he?  So far, he’s chosen not to.  The first shot Kendrick took at Drizzy was in firery verse on Big Sean’s Control.   The only response Drake gave, was when he was asked about it in interviews.  However, one interview in particular is believed to be behind Kendrick’s recent jab on BET.

When journalist Elliott Wilson asked Drake what he thought about Lamar’s verse in ‘Control’ and he stated, “That verse was a moment to talk about [but] are you listening to it now, though?”  Meanwhile, it might be a good thing that Drake hasn't responded because a growing group of people are saying that Kendrick wasn't talking about Drizzy at all.

Get more details on who people say Kendrick was talking about inside Tha Wire below.  Either way Kendrick isn’t talking just yet.  The awards show will air on Oct. 15 at 8PM ET.
