Heart disease kills a woman every minute in the United States.  Some of the common conditions that fall under Heart Disease are Congestive Heart Failure, Arrhythmia and Coronary artery disease.  There are five majors contributors to heart disease: smoking, hypertension, diabetes, family history and hyperlipidemia (high fat in the blood).

By eating a diet low in fat, including 5 servings of fruits and/or vegetables,  consuming low-fat dairy, a reduction in salt intake and making physical activity a part of your  lifestyle can lower your risk of developing Cardiovascular disease.
